ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Julia Schlam Edelman, MD is an expert on women’s health. She is the author of Menopause Matters: Your Guide to a Long and Healthy Life. Dr. Edelman is a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School, a clinical consultant at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a practicing gynecologist with more than 25 years of clinical experience. Dr. Edelman earned a BS at Yale University, an MD at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
